If you cant read your odometer and you cant stand how bright your high beam indicator is and you want a different color backlight for your speedo. Jason Kesner does a great job and has great prices.
He is on Facebook and you'll have to message him. You will have to ship your gauge cluster to him and he will ship it right back. Unless he is backed up he has a quick turn around.

As I recommended on here when someone first posted it you can sacrifice a calculator lcd screen. You can also find the correct polarized plastic on eBay and such but I don't have a link to it.

Messaged you back. I always answer "whats FB, because I am old school and can't, don't, won't use that junk." I don't have any speedo problem. Sorry, but thanks anyway.

We see maybe one post a year about the LCD screen. I think more would be interested in changing LED colors. There was a person doing that on here but they have not been on the site for years.

I personally have no need for your services but you might find some interest here as more come on when it gets warmer.

Hey guys, I'm new here. Was looking for an answer to a a fading cluster on my vtx and came across this thread. Hoping I'm in the right place...
I have a 2007 vtx 1800f with an led screen that has fallen victim to the florida sun.
I saw that Jason Kesner is likely the guy I need to talk to...

I just saw this as well. It would be nice to have a different backlight color. That tan/brown/burnt orange color or whatever it is just doesn't look right on my bike. And yeah that high beam indicator is insanely bright at night. Anf I have a few scratches on my screen.

Yeah, that brown screen isn't the nicest thing to look at. In my case, that's all I see during the day, at most angles. Just orange/tan screen with a hint of a number here or there. I figure if I can get the lcd fixed, I might as well change the color to something nicer while I'm at it. Was also wondering if the outer, plastic lense could be changed too. My lense is covered in scratches.

That hurt to look at haha. I remember looking up the oem replacement for the whole thing when it first started to fade, years ago. I remember laughing and saying I'd live with a faded screen after seeing Honda's price. Now I can't really see anything unless I'm riding at night so I started looking into it again. I also had the same thought, if someone else can fix it, hell, I probably can too... then I thought the same as you... I might jack that up... the way I'm looking at it, if I find the parts to repair what's messed up instead of buying the whole thing, how much will that cost? If I mess it up, that's just going to add costs. After I saw Jason's post where he mentioned $75 for lcd repair and $85 with color change too, that doesn't sound unreasonable and it beats replacing the assembly. Also won't have to worry about mileage being wrong after ordering a new cluster.

If you’re on Facebook, there are vtx groups. There’s a guy named Jason Kesner, he’s usually got just about anything for VTX’s. I am not on fecesbook, just trying to help with info that I found.

I’ve dealt with Jason Kenner several times through facebook. I believe Nosaj369 is Jason. Anyone that wants to deal with him can feel good about it and rest easy, he’s trustworthy and fair. Like I said, I’ve dealt with him several times And he has a stellar reputation on FB.
