2006 VTX1300R no fuel spraying changed rotted vacuum lines inspected the petcock, and the filter in the tank and the carb. No fuel coming out of the float bowl when trying to drain it. What would be next step? The bike did set almost a year, due to injury. Thank you in advance.

Is the float bowl empty? How do you know your getting fuel from the petcock?

Ok got fuel from petcock to carb. Checked float needle is free cleaned all again, have fuel coming out of bowl drain. Tried starting and battery went dead. I did test tank vent? In the back underneath tank blew air into with a piece of vacuum line. Charging battery now so will see what happens in a bit. Will report back in a few hrs or so.

Let it idle for a bit. Dumping some seafoam in tank won't hurt either.

8 oz. of SeaFoam Gas Treatment to a full tank of fresh gas for at least two consecutive tankfuls. Importantly, gap your four plugs to 0.031" (0.8 mm) for reliable ignitions (this is the lower end of the Honda spec for our bikes). Good luck!

^^^^ Yep, good stuff, cleans jets and passages, renews old gas, entrains any water in the fuel (even the water in the Ethanol) so it passes through the engine without damage, but don't be surprised if your engine runs a little ruff while all the SH....................Uh..............stuff gets run out of the system and leaves everything sparkling clean. Notice: I am not a paid spokesman for the product, just a satisfied customer!!!!!!!:bleh:
