    I recently cleaned carb on new to me VTX1300. Due to a seemingly worn rubber gasket on gas cap, I also replaced gas cap with a shadow 750 cap. Although keyed differently - seemed to fit perfectly. I did notice that on the old gas cap on the underside there seem to be very small drillbit holes...
