I’m going to be getting a custom rear fender soon and I want to be able to lower the rear of the bike a little bit. Enough to make a difference In height but also still perform well. Does anyone know if 11 inch shocks would be too short and where I would be able to find a set that would fit an...

I got a 9k mile 1300 I didn't really care for the shocks so I got some Progressive 412s 12 in and it feels amazing. No more getting that bucked off feeling and turns feel so much more stable. I've had the bike for a couple months not sure if the OEM were bad or just sucked but money well spent.

I have a pair of brand new standard rate (210/250 lbs) Progressive shock springs, not complete shocks, in black powdercoat. I bought these for 412 series, standard length (12") shocks, but they may fit other lengths/models. PM me with questions. Will fit any model VTX1300/1800 except "C" models...

This might sound like a dumb question, but I've had my 1300C for 4 years now and I've never made any adjustments to the shocks from their factory settings. Can someone explain to me why I should want to change the setting or switch to Progressives. The only nuisance conditions I've experienced...

I think my VTX1300R is a bit harsh when going over potholes or rr tracks, places where you can't avoid a bump. I am thinking I would like to improve the ride, and the handling. I am thinking of changing the stok shocks to Progressive 412 HD 12" shocks, and changing to their fork springs as well...

I ride a 2009 1300C and have just realized that the reason why my teeth rattle each time I roll over a highway expansion seam is mostly likely due to the factory per-load of my shocks. They are definitely set too stiff for my weight. So after consulting this forum for the quick "How To" on...

I have a problem with butterfly2...b2 She is riding at a slight angle... Like she was dropped. At first i thought it was the handlebars...so i did the loosen the trees and hit it with a mallet trick.. That took a lot of the the twist out. A lot. So now it feels like my boody is a little...

Has anyone tried a pair of stock Harley air shocks for their touring models (Road King, Road Glide, Electraglide) on a VTX ? Those shocks are about the same size (minus 1/4"), air adjustable, and new take-offs are available on Ebay for around $100 or less. The eyes and bushings look pretty close...

Hey everyone! I'm new to the sight, but that is because I'm a Kawasaki owner (Dont judge). Short and to the point, I need a nice set of vtx 1300 shocks off a new or low mile bike. They fit my bike and actually lower it a bit and are a lot cheaper than buying the progressive shocks. So if you...

I know of 2 rear shock bolt covers compatible with the 2004 VTX 1800R: Show Chrome Accessories (Big Bike Parts) Rear Shock Bolt Covers (4 pcs) (Part Number: BBP-55-115) Kuryakyn Rear Shock Top Cover (Pair) (Part Number: KY-8261) But I replaced my stock shocks with the Progressive 412...

I have recently seen this on Ebay and from the price it appears to be very competitive. I do not know a lot about air suspension and found posts about Barons and Kewl metal air and have seen none on Arnott® VTX Air Suspension System...

Hello all, I have a quick question for everyone; hopefully this is as simple as I think. :) As some might know (I've been posting a lot with random questions), I picked up a 2008 VTX1300R about 2 months ago now. I spend quite a bit of time riding solo but I also spend time riding with my...
