I just picked up a set of R bars for my 2007 VTX 1300c. I also have ordered a set of Scootworks PhatRisers. The risers will give me about 1 1/2" in height and 2" more pull back (based on R Model spec's). I believe that between the R bars and risers I will gain close to 4" in additional pull back...

I want to do the Clayton mod on my 2005 VTX 1300C. Can someone point me to a detailed description of how to do the mod. Also, it seems that my exhuast tips are welded on. Do I have to cut throught the weld and weld back when done?
