I just got this bike and the previous owner told me that he did not make any carb adjustments or changes to the airbox. The mpg seemed to be pretty good (over 155 miles before reserve) but after getting some bad gas once and adding carb cleaner it hasnt been the same since (136 miles to reserve). What can I do to improve my mpg? :kidding: :patriot:

That's about what I get so I'm not so sure you doing that bad, but that doesn't explain your apparent reduction in mpg.

Key things for good mileage include things like replacement of oil & filter, clean air filter, clean spark plugs, proper air pressure in tires, and of course, how aggressive you are on the throttle.
