40-45MPH How is your vtx 1300 set up what mods have you done and at what elevation are you at please?

My vtx has never actually gotten that kind of mileage. The most I have ever had was like 35 mpg. I have accounted for the incorrect odometer in my calculations. I usually get between 30-33.

Wow, 30-33 is low. My wife's VTX got 40-45 routinely even when cruising on the highway. It was an '06 1300S, FP jet kit, wind screen, pair mod, V&H pipes, and lots of chrome. This was at an elevation of ~800 feet (central Michigan and Ohio).

Sry late to the party work and life yall know how it is 😅 but yea if I got a 18 it only be for around town or so only getting 120 miles a tank kinda suck when my 13 gets around 150 maybe a lil more per tank lol

"around town". Involves more shifting than out on an open road. Thats going to eat more fuel.
