Bike is a 2006 1800C 30K miles on the odometer. Generally, the bike runs great. However, over this summer, a span of say four months, there has been a momentary hickup. Bike has been running and at operating temperature. I would stop at a light, drop to 1st gear, light turn green, give it throttle and let out the clutch, bike is moving, then there is a 2 second pause in power before it picks back up. Its like the bike ran out of gas, or lost ignition, but it only lasts 1 to 2 seconds and then all is fine. Plus in the last 3000 miles, this only happened twice. Weather was in the 70s, sun was shining. Bike has new iridium plugs, air filter, and I use 87 octane fuel. No idea of what this might be, was thinking some form of vapor lock. Anyone else see this or have any ideas.

Try a can or 2 of Seafoam in the fuel over several tankfuls. Can't hurt. Next you might try cleaning up the grounding points for the electrical system, known as the 'ground fix'. Use those key words in 'search' for DIY. Bareasschoppers.com is a good tech reference site. Try this first, then come back and let us know. PS don't wait until you're stopped to drop into first. this gives you a slight advantage to move in case an emergency situation occurs. This is a safety tip from MSF instructors.
