I brought my bike to a local honda dealer for routine maint.,when I picked the bike up it ran terrible,so I brought it back. The tech. said it needed an injector,so he replaced it. didnt fix the problem,he then stated it will need an ecm,so he replaced that, didnt fix the problem. The bike has been in the shop for over a month and it would appear that he doesnt know whats up with it now.The bike runs very rich, dies out at stops and is getting terrible gas mileage, maybe 100 miles to a tank, the bike only has 1600 miles on it,can anyone help on this issue?:hmm2:

Brian , I also own one of these monsters . Mine seems rich as well . I have never owned such large displacement bikes , so 30 to 35 MPG was all I expected . Friends that own similar bikes claim upward of 60 to 65 MPG . I believe mi bike has leaking injectors , but dont know how to test them with the tank removed , thus no fuel pressure to check for leaking injector .
Also , my bike when cranked and not allowed to warm up some , will fuel foul the plugs . ie. cranked and moved a few feet and shut down , it will usually require removing and cleaning the plugs to even run at all . I sure do hope someone has seen a similar problem .
