Gryphon is a 2006 Honda VTX1800F-S1 and has 16,000 miles.
I keep him in the garage, feed him only high octane gas and use synthetic oils to keep him well lubricated. The VA state inspection good for 12 months. Clean title.
He has a few extras:
- I replaced the stock Honda seat with an Ultimate seat for both the rider and passenger. They rebuilt the stock seat using the original pan and added much better padding.
- I replaced the stock pipes with a set of Vance and Hines Big Shots. The originals are still available if desired – very lightly used (~400miles).
- The new pipes drove the addition of a Power Commander III module. This re-jetted the electronic fuel injection and added a few extra HP (~120hp total)
- The Switchblade windshield is easily removable, depending on your mood. I also have another fixed windshield but didn’t like how it looked and took it off.
There’s also a few other odds and ends
- Saddle bags
- Cobra chrome foot boards for the passenger
- Chrome Luggage Rack (Honda Line if I recall correctly)
- Chrome passenger hand grips
- Sport passenger backrest (also upgraded by Ultimate seats)
- Chrome VTX front fender ornament
- Wired for Gerbing’s heated gear for both the rider and passenger (you’d have to buy the actual gear)
- Wired for Garmin Zumo GPS with cradle on handlebar mount (I’ll remove if not desired. I keep the GPS though)
I’m asking $8000 obo for Gryphon. Never dropped. Good Rubber.
He’s a head turner. If you want to see him, give me a call.
