It's that time of year again when the new Hunt begins. By "default" I was given the last mark of 2021. So, in the spirt of getting out and seeing some new sights, I am going to start off this year's Motorcycle Scavenger Hunt. (Following rules are copied from last year, credit: Guidedawg)

Rules are easy and casual:

Once a mark is named, the first person to post a picture of their bike with the mark, names the next mark.

You must take a picture AFTER the mark is called.(no old photos)

We can be flexible on this, but I suggest giving 2 weeks for a mark to be found. If it has not, then the poster should choose a different mark.

If it has been a month, anyone can take a photo of their bike with a different category and name that as the new mark for anyone else. This should help keep the game moving along.

The whole point is to get out and ride, see some sights, and have a few laughs. Plus, we love seeing pics of our bikes - so go get 'em!

In the spirit of the New Year and resolutions, the first mark of 2022 is: Your bike and a gym, health food store, or fitness equipment (if your bike is slumbering in the garage like mine, any fitness equipment in the garage with it counts).

To repeat, you warmer climate riders will have to do the lion's share of keeping this thread alive, the northern half is currently getting pounded by winter storm Izzy with snow measured in some places in FEET. And the sub-zero weather will be here in a couple more days. Carry on.

We just moved so my X is barricaded in the garage with boxes, old vanity's, and a vehicle. Its probably not coming out for a few months

A two-fer. Only because the health food store was only 1/2 mile away.

That small white wrought iron fence surrounds the grave of Revolutionary War veteran Dixon Hall

It is at the end of a long unused runway on what was once property of the USAF (Gunter AFB) but is now an industrial park. Mr. Hall owned the land and still resides there.


Since it is February and we all love riding, the next mark is your bike and anything remotely related to Valentine's Day...a heart, Cupid, even flowers, etc.

For those with slumbering bikes, you can still do the valentine related challenge above by taking a photo of anything related (candy, flowers, card, etc) on your motorcycle!

Your timing is unintentionally cruel I went out on a courthouse challenge Saturday and took pictures of 6! It'll probably be a few weeks before I do another county courthouse run. Hopefully someone else will be out soon.
