Another year has passed and a new Scavenger Hunt begins. (Following rules are copied from 2021, credit: Guidedawg)

Rules are easy and casual:

Once a mark is named, the first person to post a picture of their bike with the mark, names the next mark.

You must take a picture AFTER the mark is called.(no old photos)

We can be flexible on this, but I suggest giving 2 weeks for a mark to be found. If it has not, then the poster should choose a different mark.

If it has been a month, anyone can take a photo of their bike with a different category and name that as the new mark for anyone else. This should help keep the game moving along.

The whole point is to get out and ride, see some sights, and have a few laughs. Plus, we love seeing pics of our bikes - so go get 'em!

Since most of the country is in a deep freeze, the first mark of 2023 is your bike with any new gear that you may have received for Christmas, or purchased for your winter upgrade or projects. (this can be riding gear, bike parts, tires, tools, etc.)

I have new tires which are waiting for the old one to wear a little more. I ordered a few months ago just in case the of supply chain issues.
Keeping is simple during the cold months.

Your bike and some sort of maintenance, ie battery tender, oil change. wind shield washer fluid, muffler bearing lubrication

Ride Safe.
PS. This morning in Phoenix the temperature was 33F. Burr!

Are those 777's? Have you had them on your VTX in the past? I have them on my V Star. My VTX has Bridgestones but will probably switch to 777's next

Metzler 888's. The front is not an OEM size. I am using 130/80-17 instead of the 140/80-17. I can never find the 170/80-17 in any brand, well I can find the size but there are always out of stock. When I install this set, later this year, it will be the third time I have used the 130/80-17 on the the front.

I did get out and ride today in the beautiful Central Ohio weather we had. It was 69° and beautiful out there today. When I came home, I hooked the tender back up to the battery.

Took an hour ride this afternoon after a day of yard work. Stopped and snapped this picture along the way.

This hotel is at the bottom of the Lewiston grade. Rode past it on my way up the Old Spiral Highway, then back past it on my way back.

In the spirit of spring, the next mark your bike with blooming flowers or a tree with blossoms.

That color is why I paid to have the bike shipped to Idaho from New Jersey. My wife thought I was nuts for not going with a local bike. But I had to have Illusion Blue.

Inadvertently, was able able to grab this. First ride of 2023 into work and the blossoms across the street in the background happened to be showing.

Next mark - your bike with a historic site/building. Either documented or with some historical story associated to it.
