I just don't like the look of the R model as well as I do the C. Thanks for the reply!
Thanks! There seems to be a wealth of information from very approachable members here. It's a great resource for new riders like myself!Green Ghost said:O-Yeah welcome to the board. GG![]()
Yeah. I generally like the classic look, but you hit the nail on the head about the fenders. Those are what turn me off with that look.Shutterbug said:I know what you mean. Just something about the lines of the R that didn't appeal to me either. Maybe it's those German WWII helmet-looking fenders.
So what's the deal with the Jardine's using the stock brake master and others (such as Accutronix) not? Could someone enlighten me as to the differences/problems with that? Does it just limit the placement of the controls?mgttrmn said:i have the jardine forward controls on my c, i think they worked great, im 6'5".
I would also recomend the seat mod from badx, i have not had it done yet but i hear realy good things about it.
Forgive my ignorance here, but don't the Punisher bars have a TON of pullback (is that even the proper term?)? I know that even when I sit on the R I still feel cramped. I have long legs, so my knees ride up high. Would I really need that much pullback? Also, what is this I hear about the Badx seat mod?scottc_ohio said:Welcome to the cafe. I just recently purchased the Punisher bars and have not installed them yet. I took advise from many posts to the site and decided it was the bar for me, especially after the extreme seat mod set me back about 3".
