All the "essentials" are now on the bike :D. Hubby put my windshield and saddlebags on. Now it's time to start drooling over the fun stuff, like chrome!

We rode down to the lake and took this shot, boy it was cold, 39 degrees, I need some heated handgrips!

AWSOME!!!

Your bike really looks great. Let's see if I have the checklist right:

Bike....check
Windshield....check
Seat....check
Bags....check
Chrome stuff....check, check, check
Good weather....check (it's always good to ride...well, almost always)

Hmmm... well I was getting heated handgrips for Christmas, but since I got a whole new bike instead, I think Santa's all done with me for this year :D

Fender trim is first on next's years list. Right after those handgrips! ;)

i've got grips left to replace.

Get those chrome accents for the fenders and a curved license place frame...oh yeah, don't forget the sissy bar...then "Eleanr" would have a twin!!!

Beautiful bike CJ. ;)

No sissy bar... I don't want anyone to think I'm taking them for a ride  that coordinated I'll never be. Heated hand grips, and the chrome fender tips, fender louvers, and maybe a different tail light... and I'll probably call it good. LOL

CJ, my instructor strongly suggested we wait about a year before we take anybody for a ride.

I do ride my son around sometimes - he only weighs about 75lbs. But i feel his every move, starting, stopping, turning, even when he's looking from side to side.

Sorry, howard, didn't mean to hijack your post...

Thanks, those are the bags I was looking at. To see them on the bike sold me. the bags are the larger ones yes 24qt. not 18qt.
Yes they're the large ones. Eleanr has the same ones on her bike above too.

Eleanr, unless it's an emergency, I don't plan on ever taking a passenger. I have a balance problem LOL. I've been known to be just sitting there at a complete stop and tip over. I have the same problem standing. Never happens when I'm in motion, either on a bike, walking, roller blades, etc; but if I'm motionless, my balance is quite precarious.:D

CJ, how about uploading some pics to this site/gallery. Most of the sites where you guys store your pics are blocked. I would love to see your bike. With all the compliments you're getting it must be pretty nice.

Blocked? They shouldn't be, that's weird. It's on our personal website. Anyway, I've uploaded the pictures to "My Garage". My bike is just about twin to Eleanr's, only I don't have her fancy chrome (yet) hehe.

My Throttle Rocker came in the mail today! Now there's a cheapy accessory ($10) I couldn't resist, my hand always gets tired holding the throttle, but I'm a bit leery of a throttle lack.
