I JUST replaced my rear tire. It had a 180/60 Avon Venom-R on it. I bought the tire from the same guy I bought my bike from (consignment) and have bought a lot of accessories for all my bikes from him. This time I got an Avon Cobra and paid $300.00 for JUST the tire...he said he mounted it ON the bike for free. Has anyone else seen the Cobras costing this much? I really like this guy and like the convenience of going to him...but I have looked on line and can't find another source that is priced that high. :spank:

Man I don't want to be a bad mouth person but I feel that is a little high but if you like the guy and like doing business with him and can AFFORD to pay extra then by all means stay with him. It is hard to find people to do business with that you like and I would much prefer giving extra money to someone who treats me good and who I like. If I like someone i really do not mind giving them extra as long as I can afford it. Just my opinion take care. PS one last thing is very important to me and that is honesty I will always pay extra for an HONEST person to do business with.

I just did a quick search, and found front and rear Avon cobra's for $306. but thats just the tires. so i'm going with probly not a great deal.

Thanks guys. I found that rear Cobra for an average of $225.00 and did expect to pay for having it mounted ON the bike so it would have been the same. But when he told me he mounted it free and that was what the tire cost I wondered....oh well he has given me some really good deals on other stuff and besides he bought my lunch lol
