Hi all,
I just got a 2004 VTX 1800N
I'm wanting to get an aftermarket seat for it, but I only want to do it once.
I'm looking at either a mustang seat or an "ultimate" big boy seat. with drivers and passenger backrests.
But I'd Realllllly like to sit on one before putting out the 700-900.00 to buy it.

I'm wondering if anyone might have one of these seats that I could come by and just sit on
to see if it works for me?

My stock one leaves a lot to be desired after 1/2 hour or so.

Appreciate any help or input!

Dan, I have an 02 1800c with a mustang seat w/ driver backrest. I'm out in Buckeye, or I ride it to work on 75th and I-10 if you want to test sit. BTW, I love it. Have gone 500+ miles many times with it.

I would be very interested in that!
It's about 3 hours from me, so maybe i'll see if I could line 2 up in a day?
But if not I'd like to come up and try it?

I see hwy 85 and I-10, but not 75th? Still looking though.

Contact Ultimate, I believe they have a 30 day return if you don't like it. That way you can put it on your bike and ride a few hundred miles with your set up.
I have a ultimate for 5 or 6 years and love it. When I bought a bike for my wife it came with a Mustang. I put it on mine and took it off after about 100 miles. Sold it.
I have done 2,000 miles in 3 days, twice, on my Ultimate. I have had several other rides of 13 hrs days. No regrets.

75th Avenue and I-10. Just give me a shout whenever. I ride it most days to work, or catch me at home, whichever is easiest.

Try and make it to the East Coast Gathering in June and you'll have several different seats to try. Some may let you ride and some won't but I'm sure you'll be able to at least sit on several different bikes/seats to see what you like.
