Frankly, I became a site sponsor because I thought it was still being run by an individual. Wasn't aware it was part of motorcycle.com. I generally don't like "contributing" to for profit businesses so I probably wouldn't have in the first place but since the restriction exists to only have 10 PM's in your inbox at any given time, It's worth my donation for the extra space alone. I've been here for 10 years or so. During some mixup with security issues on site i had to creata a new profile.
I've owned my Xc since late :01 so I don't have any questions about oil or tires and sharte what i Do know when i can.
Point of this post is to suggest to whemever has the final say that 1. The new jazz is nice for the most part.
However,...some of the old rules should be updated to allow for more varied discourse of a wider variety of subjects. Mainly ban the ban of Political threads. Why,...because its a bit BORING here. This place needs SOMETHING!
Yeah,...i know,...I dont have to visit and I already dont very much at all.

As for sending even a dime to be told to collectivally shut up,.....not sorry im not paying for that.
That said,...all else is moving along well in the cyberworld,....so whomver,...please try and keep up.

The two active mods (Coyotevols and me) are probably the ones who would make the decision on changing the degree of political discourse allowed. I am not inclined to make any changes to our policy prohibiting political discussion. I have participated in at least a dozen forums that allow this and all turn into a shouting match where nothing useful is said and some people feel ostracized and/or belittled. I don't want to see that here on the Cafe and if the price for preventing this is to make the VTX Cafe a bit boring, I can most definitely live with that.
