If anyone is in Australia, and has one of the Hondaline headlight cowls, I'm looking to borrow one to take a fibreglass mould.

I cannot find one for sale anywhere, so would love to just make myself one.

I will compensate the owner for the privilege.

I'm located in the A.C.T.

I guarantee no damage would be made to the cowl itself, and would also be willing to supply you with a spare if you wanted one (Replication would be without widscreen, and windscreen seam marks).

Too bad there's no one local to you who can spot you the fairing. It may have something to do with you being a brand new member asking a pretty big favor. Stay a while, develop some cred and I'm sure you'll find this board more helpful with big things like that. Good luck with the custom fabrication; that's some impressive drive, right there! I'll be following along if you post the progress of it. And oh yeah, welcome to the Cafe!

Depending on how your initial run works out, ya might be able to sell a few on here also. I know i've tossed around the idea of either the hondaline headlight cowl, or a national cycle bullet fairing. Just don't want to swallow the $200 + on a trial hunch. If you didn't have overhead, and just some time and parts, with a little compensation, I'm sure the price could be a bit lower. Wouldn't even have to paint em.
