OK Boop, Here's a couple of pics. Look ma no wires? I've still got to splice them so they will be long enough to hide. Waiting now on the Big Brown Truck to bring my parts to finish.

Hum, no time for lessons, too busy looking for what to add next, that is after the special GG plate and some kury mini bullets for the front and back. Gotta clean up the rear end you know !! I DO LOVE CHRISTMAS !!! Really, those bars look awesome on the ghost, look like about the same rise as the Punishers, just not back as far. How's the reach on them? Oh yeah, where 'd the mirrors go? I know still working on it, they look great!!

I hope there on the way. I orderd a set of Arlen Ness. I know there not your best people right now, But I wanted a small mirror with a short stem. Not many choices with the type I'm looking for. The reach is about the same as the stock R/S bars. But instead of hands angled back there now almost straight with the bars and a little closer together. I haven't had it on the road yet. Who knows they may be in the trash next week.

I hope they don't end up in the trash after all the work you've done, and I like them. Don't know if I'd like my hands closer together, guess you'll get use to it,like I will with mine being higher. Which AN mirrors did you decide on. They have some awesome ones, still looking for mine also, then I'll send ya the stockers. Bars really do look great, I can see some low (narrow) lean curved mirrors on there.! Now I gotta go look again. Have a good night !

I think they are called Raptor II, A very small teardrop shape. I'm sure they will have no veiw at all, But I never look back to I hear glass rattle anyway. GG :choppersm

Thanks Rich, I always value your opinion. I've got a guy comming to look at the bagger on SAT. If he buys it, I'll need your guidance a little more when the 1800 is in the shop. I'm not very 1800 savy and I know I'll have a ton of questions for you and Big-X. :cheers:

So has the big brown truck showed up with your mirrors yet? Ooops I forgot He can't get out of SC, too may deliveries to Boops House. :icon_chuc Ha Ha. No really, have they come yet, can't wait to see them and hear how easily they installed. If they do, I might try ness again, at least this ones a honda, yama mama had that reverse thread on the right, might be why we had so much trouble with them, although we had the right adaptors?/ who knows..Anyway, looking forward to seeing them.

OH No, sorry ! I get mine all put on when Santa delivers my new billet, Mike says he wants to do it all at once. Besides, it would look kinda funny with new lights, the plate and bracket cut off and wires for the plate hangin. Oops, shouldn't of said that, you could make me wait too, hum..Well maybe you'll get a peek at them before they're wrapped !! Hope so.

Frame and Wires

A Boop, Did you get your lighted frame yet? If so, see if Hubby will let you post a pic of the back of it. I need to see if I need to cut a groove for the wires so they will be out of sight. Im sure that the wires will go between the plate and mount. But if they had a groove to follow and exit on the bottom at the mount you won't have so much of a chance to cut them with the sharpe edge of the plate. GG

I agree, great look without the wires. Wire placement seems to be one of the misses Honda had with the VTX. I love my bike, but they could have done better.:nope:
