I just recently bought my X about a week and a half ago, but have no way to clean and polish it. My supervisor has a 1300 and says he uses an all in one cleaner that works on everything from the windshield to the seats and everything else on the bike. He said he believes it's in a black and white can with pink lettering on it, but cannot remember the name of it. I am looking to get out and clean the bike today real good but need to know what he best all in one cleaner out there is. Can you tell me what the name of that cleaner I described is? If not, tell me what y'all use and what you think about it so I can decide what to go buy today to clean my bike. Thanks fellow x'rs! Ride safe and keep the shiny side up!

That works? It won't affect the paint? What about the brake dust, will it work on that too?
I use it on painted surfaces, wheels, windshield, chrome, seat... Everything except the tires...Nice and shiny afterwards...On the chrome bits, the hot tip is to after using the Pledge, go over those parts with a clean microfiber cloth to remove streaks...Haven't found anything better yet that I can get locally...

Okay I will try it then. I'll go get some in a bit and buy some microfiber cloths as well. Will it work for dashboards and stuff like that in cars as well? Have to detail wife's car as well, so if I can save by using only one product, then that will make it better.

It works on everything in a car as well...I clean with the micro cloth, and then go over it with an old worn out cotton t-shirt...Works great! Congrats on your new ride!

I've used Pledge on my airplane from 1993 until 2006 when I had to sell her. It's great on windscreen, all exterior paint and the best for removing exhaust stains on the belly. I now use it on my bike. Wishing you well.

I've been using the pledge lemon scent (yellow can) stuff for about 2 years now. It's what we have an abundance of here at work. I just use two rags.....one for a first wipe down and then the second rag to remove any streaks. I use it on everything but my seat....I've never done anything on the seat but I've heard of others that use it on their seats. I don't see a problem using it on a car interior but haven't.

it's in a black and white can with pink lettering on it,
That sounds like Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish which is a good product. Probably more expensive than the Pledge, though.
+1 for the Honda Polish. I use that stuff on everything. I carry a small spray can in the saddle bag for a quick wipe or excessive bugs, or to clean my helmet shield. Kinda spendy but works!
