So my bike used to start without any issue like it should and here recently for the past several months it’ll either start and idle very low and then die and not start again, or it’ll crank but won’t turn over. Sometimes it starts just fine without trouble. I’ve changed the fuel filter, cleaned the gas tank, new battery, checked the air filter, and still nothing.
Any advice would be very helpful!

please clarify
crank but won’t turn over .. is the same thing.

crank and not start is different.

you have a vacuum controlled petcock.. a crack or vacuum leak.. the petcock will NOT open and allow fuel into the carburetor...

also WHAT YEAR of 1300.. 2003 has fuel pump and is prone to trouble.
2004 on does not have a fuel pump. and the diaphragm inside the petcock can go bad for several reasons...

Sorry, it will crank but will not start.
Now how would I check that? Since it doesn’t start I can’t drive it to Honda and really don’t want to pay a towing bill.
It’s a 2007
