The sad part of these laws is that if put to a vote they would never pass. In CA the helmet law was defeated every year it was o the ballot by a HUGE and overwhelming margin. It was finally passed as a piece of legislature with NO VOTE by the people because the insurance industry greased enough palms in Sacramento to get it pushed through. This is just how it is done these day no matter what the people want. What you need to do is make it known to your state elected officials that they will be impeached if they vote for or pass this bill and then actually petition for a recall if they do. Good luck.
