Hi everyone! On Sunday, August 28th, 2011 the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, FL Chapter 29 is sponsoring a Police Escorted Benefit Ride through Osceola County. I'd like to invite all of you to join us, whether you are a Blue Knight member or not!!

John does not know about this ride-so far, we are trying to keep it a surprise!! (internet might blow that but we are trying to get the word out as many places as possible.

Registration begins @ 8:30am. KSU @ 10am. Registration, the start & the end of the ride will be held @ St. Cloud Police Dept. in Osceola County, FL. There will be raffles, food and beverage vendors, live band, a great ride and a great afternoon get together!
The ride is to benefit Motorman Officer John Colley of the St. Cloud Police Department, who several weeks ago was involved in an on-duty motorcycle accident. He was riding code 3 to a car accident when a vehicle pulled out from a side rode and hit him. John and his bike were ejected up and over the vehicle. John sustained serious injuries to his legs but thankfully no internal or permanent damage. Can't say the same for his bike. After several surgeries John is wheel-chair bound for a minimum of 6months. He lives with his mother, who, on the same day as his accident, just returned home from major surgery herself and is very ill. As many of you may or may not know-workman's comp only pay 66% of your salary and he has no other income coming in.

Registration is $20 per bike-including a passenger if you have one (it is not $20 per person but per bike) and it also includes a food and beverage ticket to your choice of BBQ hot dogs and/or hamburgers; again-including your passenger if you have one.

One of the raffles is for a Civil War Commemorative .22 Revolver presented in a laser etched wooden case complete with a second cylinder and synthetic ivory grips with the FL State Flag. Those raffle tickets are $10 each and only 300 are being sold. 100% of the proceeds go to John. You do not have to be present to win, and, if you do win and wish not to have that particular gun, the owner of Signal Zero Supplies (donating the gun) has generously offered to give you your choice of any gun equal in value to that of the revolver. There will also be a 50/50 raffle where the winner receives 50% of the winnings and John gets the rest. There are drawings for ride training...ride as well as a motorman...and lots more!

The route will begin @ SCPD, down Kissimmee Park Road to Canoe Creek Road South to 441-N to Hwy 192 to Narcoossee Road to Rummel Rd to St. Cloud's gorgeous Lakefront Rd and back to the police department. This is a completely escorted by 3 local law enforcement agencies, the motor units. There will be appropriate road blocks and assistance.

All food and beverages are being donated so all proceeds will go to John. There will be additional vendors on property as well. Full bathrooms are available (not port-a-potties)

I can offer some good hotel/motel references if you wish and, I have a spare pull out couch, air mattress, a queen size bed and plenty of floor space for 2-8 people. You don't even have to share a bathroom with us as we have 2 full baths.

Please feel free to reply or PM me with any questions. I'd love for those of you who are able to join us, to do so!!

Not Burger King Woody, Blue Knights...even if you were being sarcastic, it was still funny.
Ok guys the video is done. Just have to upload it. It's about 16 mins long. It looks great on the 51in flat screen. I will burn DVD's for you all. But I will upload on YouTube shorty. Make sure you have some popcorn.

LOL, I am almost always kidding. My mind works fast and even faster when it comes to being a smartazz. :D
Duuuuude, I don't even know what to say, but you all know I can't stay quiet. LOL

First off, That was so F#@*ing bad a$$. Loved the music, quotes, and flow of it. I'm not ashamed to say it brought a tear to both our eyes while watching. Maybe that's because we were part of that awesome weekend with old and new friends/family. It was touching and funny all at the same time.

Beth and I are happy to call y'all our family. Thank you.

Seriously. That was incredible and I'm almost at a loss for words. I'm trying to spit them out and they're stuck. I miss you all very much. "Goosebumps and Tears...Family and Friends" God Glenn...thank you so much for taking the time and the effort. I can't thank all of you for coming here and becoming more a family to us than you could know. :icon_hug:
So glad you enjoyed it. Never lose site of the fellowship of bikers and friends. I too get choked up making it. Then I burned a DVD and watched it on 51 inch tv. And it was even better. Just amazed on how u see something different each time you watch it.
