Has anyone purchased (and received) Bub Jug Huggers recently. I am thinking about putting them on the "new" 1800 C and was doing some searches for pricing. I noticed that many of their outlets have "product not available" notices up. Phat has up a "shipping soon" notice. Anyone know anything?

Bub Jug Huggers

I just put Bub Jug Huggers on my 09' 1300 Tourer. WOW Loud is all I can say. I ordered mine from Phats on 4-28-11 and received them 7-25-11. Long wait, but look and sound great. Have only been out on the bike twice since husband got them on so far. Nothing long distance. I feel the bike runs faster (idle) (not sure if I am imagining this too??) and lots of heat off them. 360 degree difference from stock pipes...just need to get used to them is all, such a radical difference, LUV THEM SO FAR. But believe me...THEY ARE LOUD!!!! My vote is join the BUB CLUB:D:mosh::mosh::mosh:

Got mine a few years ago and got them in a week. My guess is, that since the bike is no longer in production, they only make them upon order now instead of having them in stock. They also probably wait until they have quite a few orders to justify a run of them.
Really like mine. Kind of startled me the first time I lit them up, but it's reassuring to know someone can feel/hear you before they see you.

Just ordered a set from Phat Performance, and will be calling Monday to see when they ship. Hope it works out.

Don't have an answer to your post, just a comment. These suckers are WAY loud. In fact, the two VTX's I've seen with them I won't ride near in a group, especially to their right. VERY annoying to me and I'm pretty tolerant to the whole loud pipes thing since I did a Hole Saw mod to my own -09.

Also note that the sound you get from a 1300 is way different than you'll get from an 1800.
