Not too subtle on hints here are we... :kidding: Just sayin... I will ask around the locals and see what would be a good ride!

Have a local offer to trade my single Corbin seat for a stock driver/rider setup. Hopefully that will happen in next couple of days. Unfortunately it doesn't do a lot for back support for the wife though for a good ride. Anyone know of a good deal on a mustang or similar set up with back rests?
Haha :D Sorry. I completely missed your post earlier

You can get a back rest and put it on even with a stock seat. However, her butt may be yelling instead of her back

Lee! Way to step up and take the lead! :mosh:
Now.. :stirpot: Seems like I remember a few more guys on here from SC that might be willing to provide some POI..

I will get the word out here and see what I can plan out. Uploaded a few pics, so feel free to check em out...

If anyone can help provide a good find on a good seat setup for me and the wif without killing my almost non existant bank account, a point in the right direction would be most helpful!

Learned 2 lessons long ago...
1. Happy Wife = Happy Life
2. If Momma ain't happy, ain't no one happy...!

I got a Cobra sissy bar and backrest, makes a world of difference! My wife was REALLY uncomfortable before we got the backrest but now she loves it! I also got a Mustang wide tourer seat and that makes as much difference as the sissy bar, so to reiterate what Nathan said, you should look at both for her comfort.

PM me if you get something going in the Low Country. Never part of a group ride down there. I'm pretty sure we can get at least 4-6 X Riders from this area to consider going.

I'm thinking of taking a ride up to Ceasars Head this saturday to check out the leaves and the view. THIS weekend is supposed to be peak color!

Is very nice! The ole' man was here a few weeks ago. Always a good time to have him visit.
Sounds like y'all are getting this together. You may need a child sitter and someone to fire up the grill. If it is the right weekend, I may know someone who may be able to stop by and help out with enough notice. :D

Well if it is the same person I am thinking, I don't think it will be possible (considering he would have to join), but I do know a 17 yr old young lady that would probably be happy to sit with the wee ones! And the grill warms up pretty quickly anyways... :choppersm

Well it sounds like we have enough people on board to make for a decent ride. Why don't we start throwing out potential dates, before we have to ride in full winter gear.

If you post quickly, I'm up for trying tomorrow.

Otherwise, I'm throwing out another ride for Carolina X-Riders to consider for this Saturday. Make it if you'd like:

Anyone interested in taking a ride up and around Lake Wateree in the north central Midlands for a quick getogether ride. We'd eat at one of the Fish Camps and then head back south to I-20. It'll be a 75 mile ride up through the country with a stop along the way (probably at the dam). We can eat and gab for an hour or so. Then head back a slightly different route; maybe hit some twisties on the lake road and then head back home.

Anyone want to meet up around 10 AM, Eat around noon, then be back at our start point well before 3PM?

This is the place we'll be trying out for the eats: http://www.catawbafishcamp.com/ It's all you can eat fish and drink for around $12 total.

What do Mako, Ray, Jami and his boy or anyone else think?

If you folks just north of the NC state line want to come down to join us it's on SC Hwy 9 between the Fort Lawn and Lancaster. It's the VERY FIRST building just west of the river. It's huge with a big red roof and has a giant casino sign out near the road.

Everyone else could meet up at exit 92 (US 601, off I-20) at the Pilot station just to the north of the interstate?
