Has anyone here used a chatterbox system or anything like it? If so, does it work well? Is it worth the money?

I have never used one but I think that they are on the lower end for quality when it comes to motorcycle audio.

What to buy depends on what you are looking for and what you are planning to do with it. If you have a cruiser, are you simply looking for music? Are you looking for an intercomm system? If you are simply looking at head sets, I would also look at J&M or Show Chromes headsets before making a purchase. While the Chatterbox items are very cost effective, you get what you pay for when it comes to audio equipment.

My son and I have just received two of the GMRS X1 models. Could you explain what the channels and talk groups are? Is it just 15 channels and 38 subgroups of those channels? Any one in particular use any particular channel/subgroup? Thanks for your help.

We just bought the Scala Rider Q2 with imbeded FM. All Bluetooth (no wires!!!) They are installed on full face helmets but we love them. There isn't much bass in the audio but there is plenty of volume and we can talk at 75mph with no problem.
