I was just wondering, I got a bud that lives in a suburb of Chicago and his windshield is plastard with a bunch of goverment stickers for taxes, do they plaster one of those for emmision testing too on a fender?

I live in the burbs of Chitown. There is no emission testing for bikes in Illinois. The stickers he has is probably like a motor vehicle sticker. Any burb of Chitown I lived in gave a little metal tag that you attached to the plate.

I'm in Buffalo Grove and they do what Sixgun said...metal tag that goes on your license plate.

Question, you said that stickers were plastered to his shield, what if he didn't have a shield, then what?

then they go on the front forks usually. it sucks, but thats the govt getting their $hare for you.

Chrome Stickers

All you around windy should drop in on a county/city meeting and lobby for the stickers to be changed to chrome ones. No more cost for the GOV. and look a hell of a lot better on the bike. Our state inspection here in NC. was changed to chrome last year. GG

Cost the same as any bike inspection in NC. For a bike it's $9.25 once a year. GG
