Probably sounds crazy, but the big texas toy run is in 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone knows how to hook up christmas lights on a bike ? Or any other suggestions.:banghead:

hey golf, they have christmas lights that plug into a cigarette lighter...i know they sell them at truck stops. saw them on many trucks over the years...you can cut the plug and hook them to the battery also, but i would suggest if going that route to use an inline fuse.

good luck, and some pics of the final decision please :D

a couple of years ago i was on chincoteague island, virginia in December and saw their local Christmas parade. That was the first time i saw so many bikes with Christmas lights and it looked really nice. good luck with your hook up!

Just a thought....

I just did the Lewisville, TX toy run last Saturday. I don't want to rain on your parade but I am not sure the lights will even show up in the daylight. I thought the best decorated bikes were done with different colors of tinsel ropes and garlands, perhaps a bow or two.

Of course the best decorations sit on the seat behind you......
