Triple Plating- Copper, Nickel, Chrome. Your'e looking at $625.00 to $750.00. I checked a couple of places for chrome platting my C wheels. Im going to have them polished instead for $350.00. This way I can polish Wheels, rear end housing, Front and rear rotors, Counting the Zoop Seal I'll still have less than $500.00 in them all.;)

I changed my seating arrangement back to a one-up for winter storage here in WI., without all the bags, sissie-bar and shelf the rear wheel/fender really is visable again, I like the wheels just think the unit would look better with them chromed..alot better...GG you stated aprox.$650- $750, is that for ea. or both? anything else I should think about chroming as long as I'm taking the wheels off?

I'll have to remove the tires, obviously..do the wheel bearings need removal also? any other obsticles?

Wow, that's a answer! I'll give him a call only thing is I'd like my own wheels chromed so there's no trouble later if they're not straight..I'll take a look but it sounds like other items need the chrome too to make this project right...I'd like to keep it around a grand or so if possible.

thx

Chroming looks great on the wheels--just remember, if you polish out the wheels vs. chroming them, you can always buff out minor marring and scratches down the road. Chrome--won't be able to do that and only solution is to re-chrome. There is an exchange set on e-bay right now of chromed R/S wheels (might actually be Handler at Gateway-not sure). When I get around to it, I'm going to go the polishing route.
