Go for LED's. You won't regret it.

VERY sorry to hear about your clavicle! Been there, done that! I know your pain. Mine was so bad that I actually had to get the end of it ground off.

Do you have any more info on the LEDs you used?
SURE! Here you go.

My tail light LED
http://www.radiantz.com/c14.html

My preferred turn signal LED's. WAY brighter than stock bulbs. Don't let their looks fool you. At 3 watts, these are THE brightest LED's you will find!
http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/115x-xLX3.htm

Misc 12 volt LED's for turn, brake and tail lights. My fav flasher is also at the botom of this page.

Skip the load equalizers. I never use them. Just replace your stock flasher relay with a cheap electronic one that can also do LED's. Available at Custom Dynamics and probably just about everywhere that sells LED turn signals. They are plug and play. Just unplug your old flasher relay (under the right side cover) and plug in the new one. Some flashers (stock ones) do not work properly with LED's, some ONLY work with LED's, some will work properly with ANY combination of incandescent and LED bulbs.
To help get you looking in the right direction:

Hope this works for you.

Cheers!

Thanks Goldsmith, she's probably the best 20 lb. package we've ever had!

Thanks HotX, that's exactly what I wanted!
