Looking for a clutch cable for my 06 1300VTXR.What are you all using ?

I just replaced mine and added Glen's Clutch-Pull-Relief (CPR) kit. I purchased a Honda cable from the dealer for $11 and change.

I had to replace mine with the stock cable too and added the CTR as well.

use the oem cable if you want it to last as long as your first one did..:mosh: Bry

Whichever cable you choose, one thing to keep in mind when installing the new cable, whether or not you are installing Glen's Clutch-Pull-Relief kit. Is to align the cable barrel with the cable at the engine end. Please note the attached picture, which shows a mis-aligned barrel and cable between the red parallel lines. This owner would need to tweak the barrel holder to align the barrel and cable. Forget to do this and your cable will fail long before its time. Don't ask me how I know this.
