Does anyone have experience specifically with Vance & Hines Cruzers on a 1300? The price is much better than the bigshots.
I am curious regarding sound level, are baffles necessary, and how do you determine the carburetion modifications necessary? :)

Hotrock almost any pipe change on a 1300 will require a carb. mod. You may just have to shim the needle. You may just have to change the main to 185, 190, 195. You may also need to change the slow jet from a stock 55 to a bigger 65. My 1300 R has a Kury Hypercharger with Stinger lid and DG Hard Krome Big Three Straights. I had to go with all three. 8 Thousands needle shim 195 main jet, and a 65 slow jet instead of the stock 55. You will also need a pro to do this for you if you don't have slide carb expertise.

i have those pipes. i put them on and did not have to rejet. the bike ran fine with no changes at all. you might have to adjust the f/a mixture a bit. depends on your elevation.

they come complete. pipes, heat shields, mounting hardware, and baffles.

they sound awsome.

i live very close to sea level, dealers have to richen the bikes up a little here due to the more dense air.

i have a kury pro-r hypercharger and the cruizers, all i had to do was shim my fuel needle (scar method) and set the a/f screw, it runs fine.
