My Fiance' is 5' - 10", and I could tell she wasn't very comfortable riding as a passenger with her leg's all 'bunched up', kinda like a jockey on a horse,,,,

I looked at all kinds of peg extenders, floorboards, and the likes.

Just an inch or so straight out (or any direction, for that matter!) wasn't gonna cut it, not enough room with the Jardine pipes in the way. So 'simple' Kury peg entender's, offsets, splined adapters, and the (required) new pegs weren't gonna do much but end up looking like a conglomeration of pieces that would end up cost me a pretty penny,,,,,

Saw some passenger floor boards, even some with some forward adapters,,,, but with prices starting at $200 for (most) boards alone,,, or $300 + for the Rivco's with forward adapters, I still wasn't convinced that just a floor board or even one placed 3 inches forward was going to provide her with a much improved leg position.

Saw these advertised at C Customising:

http://www.cycle-istic.com/PegExtenders.html

As CC is no longer carrying these, I ordered mine direct from the manufacturer.

PRO'S:

Less than $100.

Arrived promptly by Priority Mail.

Made of highly polished billet aluminum, shine nicely.

Sturdy, one piece design, with all hardware included.

Easy/Quick to put on. I did have to loosen and partially remove my left passenger peg mounting bracket to remove the Honda footpeg 'pin'. Added 3 minutes to the overall install time =)

My Fiance' LOVES THEM!!! Let's her stretch her legs both down and out, and a bit forward as well. Much easier on the knees and tailbone!

CON'S:

AS STATED ON THE WEBSITE: ,,,Fits:,,,, VTX 1800 (except 1800-C with stock large single muffler),

These extenders will not fit over the singular 4 to 4 1/2 inch dia. 'mega-can' style of muffler, factory or aftermarket, as found on the 1800 "C".
(Not an issue with my 1800 C as I have Jardine 2 into 2 slashcut Rumblers. These peg extentions fit perfectly, with loads of clearance. )

The extender itself does not fold up, (peg does) so it does kinda 'hang out' there a little bit. Seems moreso that way on the left side due to the absence of the exhaust as found on the right. Not gawdawful horrendous, the drivers' pegs stick out further still, but just not as neat and tucked in as the stock passenger pegs when folded up. (Imagine that!)

If you have a long-legged ole' lady (or passenger!) who wants to stretch out a bit more, and you don't want spend a fortune on adapter's, pegs, boards, and brackets, try these out!!!

They worked for me! (and her!)

YES..the Cycle-istic Extenders worked great for my GF and me too.
She's 5'10" and even with a Ultimate seat, her legs were bent up siting on the Neo. I was hitting my elbows on her knees.
With the Cycle-istic's and Cobra floor boards for her, she's very happy.:)

I put the same ones on for my wife and she is much happier! Ive tried to get her to let me put something else on because I didnt care for how far they stick out, but anything I put on came right back off for these LOL.

I have gotten used to the way they look. I would recommend these to anyone with an uncomfortable passenger.

I think the issue with the C model's is the stock mufflers, but Im not positive. Call the 800 number on their site. You will find them very helpful and great to work with. Tell them the set up you have and they should be able to tell you if it will work or not.
