I've been having a terrible time trying to find a shop that will mount a CT for my 1300r. Anyone know of a place? I know I know. My bike will burst into flames as soon as that CT gets bolted up.
I took mine to tire discounters, told them it was for a sidecar. I was also told to check places that mount truck tires. There they can shoot the air at a much quicker rate than ones designed for Motorcycle tires or car tires.I've been having a terrible time trying to find a shop that will mount a CT for my 1300r. Thanks! That's a great idea!I took mine to tire discounters, told them it was for a sidecar. I was also told to check places that mount truck tires. There they can shoot the air at a much quicker rate than ones designed for Motorcycle tires or car tires.
There's a ton of them here.. Should I remove my rotor?Try one of those no-name, side of the road tire places that sells discount tires. I find one in Miami and it cost me a whopping $5.00. Went right next door to Riva Motorsports and had it balanced for 15.00..
+1..Had the rotor off.Having someone else doing the work YES I would remove the rotor just to insure it doesn't get bent.
You will need some blue loctight when you put the bolts back in.
Bolts are rather soft so be careful not to strip the hex heads.
