Like the guys just said, ride it hard. Shaft drive is almost indestructible and lasts a lifetime.

+6...lol..she definately doesn't like to be baby'd...you'll hardly notice it when you stop trying to take it easy on her...lol....you don't have to twist the throttle off ...just a good steady hard pressure..till ya hear her start to wine...shift and repeat...lol...Betty Boop

Riding it hard is the only way to go, well except when the I hit some gravel in a turn and lost it. Broke my clavicle in two places and had to upgrade my shoulder with a surgical strap. It's a good reminder for me that I have the mind of a twenty year old stuck in a 50 year old body.

Gooner I have only gotten mune up to 110 or so. But it feels like if I kept her wide open she would have rounded the spedo......I try to keep it at the speed limit but before I know it I'm in the zone, one with the machine, and haulin butt. All jokin aside this bike is simply amazing!!!!

Your too funny..lol...I like to open her up myself...but I've learned with my small hands its much easier for me to just reach way around the throttle and let her roll back to me hard and steady...cant seem to get enough twist outta the wrist grabbing in the normal CRUISIN position..lol..and I know for a fact mine will go 120 and felt lilke she had more..but ran out of roasd ! I think thats the day Hubby decided to trade the Roadstar 1600 for the Stratoliner 1900...I walked away and left him behind..lol

You should have no problem getting into the triple digits. i got mine to about 113-114 mph with plenty left. i only let off because my sunglasses were giving me absolutely no eye protection at that speed and i couldnt see a dang thing because of so much direct eye contact with 100+mph air

now thats funny right there... sory BB he got ya good... but for gooner my buddy has a kawi 1000 and we were side by side at 120 his indicator mine was at 125 ish ... the speedo gets off as you get up there in the speed zone.But these things haul azz.

Isn't that what the X in VTX..stands for...lol...and you should have figured out by now...everything I do is to the Xtreme...lol.. BB...ps..that did sound a little uhhhhhhhhhh....never mind... BB
