my son and I have been having this ongoing discussion about engine guards vs peg mounts....he has a C......wants to keep it minimal! I like the engine guards, Fatty's, for safety reasons........what do you guys think?

I put on Paladin Highway bars and bought some nice highway pegs to mount to them. I love the comfort it brings to the longer rides. Look isn't bad either.

My fear was that the pegs themselves would not get my feet out far enough without feeling flimsy. I do not like engine guards but went with them and put pegs on them. Turns out I am pretty happy with them.

I went with the peg mounts......I got some pictures somewhere, but I like them. I am 29-30" inseam and they are ideal with my Mustang seat.

I did add some 3 or 4" extensions though, which allow me tons more room to move around.

I dont like the look of engine guards and definetly not on the F. So I went with the Cruise Peg Mounts. The problem is I'm 6'4" and they are not far enough forward. I then bought extensions(2" or 3" cant remember would have to measure) and they still dont let me get my legs stretched out enough. I'm now thinking of taking them off because I never use them.

I have Kury cruise peg mounts. I don't like the minimal adjustment (without buying offsets). They also have decreased my twisty fun. They scrape the road a lot.
