My c started missing a little bit awhile back it almost feels like when you hit the rev limiter only not quite that bad . It doesn't do it when it's cold and I don't know if this is related but the tach jumps around when it happens it very weird it has always ran perfect . I have moded the air box and it has cobra short pipes any ideas would b greatly appreciated thanks. Paul

Check the connections at the coil that the tach is wired to. If the tach is losing power, the coil is too.

I agree with BIGJON,, also if the tach is going bad it could also affect the coil.

thanks i will check that as soon as i get home I also noticed the grounding issues posted about the 1800 I don't know if that has ever been checked could that cause my problem or not ?

I would do the ground fix as well. it can only help.

Check the battery cables too... tighten them with wrench or socket.
