I have no experience with the 1300's, but have read a lot. All I can offer is V & H used to offer a "quiet baffle". How much quieter than their regular ones IDK. Maybe after a lengthy search on your part, either on the 2 VTX forums, the facebook VTX group, or eBay/ Amazon, you might get lucky. Parts just aren't made for these bikes anymore. I have read in the past of some owners using some fabricating skills and installing in the pipe openings sink strainers, and large flat washers as extra baffling. Good luck sir.
Exhaust Question
Hey Guys,
I just got a 2006 VTX 1300C last weekend with 23k miles. The bike is in good condition, garage kept, but it is LOUD. I live in a quiet neighborhood and I'd like to keep it that way and avoid rattling my neighbors walls.
The previous owner says the exhaust is Vance & Hines. I searched and V&H doesn't make exhaust for this bike anymore so I couldn't positively ID it. I removed the heat shield and tip and the OD is 2.25", ID is 2.13". Any thoughts on the quietest baffle for these bikes? It has a baffle but I'd like to replace it and get the quietest I can find, fiberglass wrapped. Any thoughts/experiences you can share with baffles you've tried?

Vance & Hines only made two exhaust systems for the 1300..."Cruisers" and "Bigshots"....I used to have Bigshots on my 1300 (pic attached)...Yours definitely aren't Bigshots...
Oh yeah, Vance & Hines (and Cobra) stamps their name into the heat shields on their pipes, near the outlet....
