New to the site and Thinking of putting Vance and Hines Big Shots on my VTX 1800F and have read on here that there is no need for a fuel programmer, such as a fuel pak or FI200R. In the same threads I here owners saying that there could be some back firing on Decel. Will these fuel programmers help to alleviate this or will I be wasting my $. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

No fuel programmer needed with a pipe swap....Worked on an 1800C over the weekend that has those same pipes and no add-on FI unit, bike runs great...Any popping you may get can be alleviated by removing the PAIR valve system....
