OK, My 1300C has about 26K on it. I just ordered parts to fix a fork seal leak BUT I am wondering how much time AKA I want to ride... How long can I let it go before it is a problem? So far it just spits a little on the frame, I don't have any puddles on the floor but I don't know if that happens or not.

Thanks,
Bill

The seal could fail at anytime. Fork seals aren't hard to replace and shouldn't take but an hour or two if two have a lift.
From my experience, it will fail when your on a 500 mile road trip at 11 PM in a town with two gas stations and it's the county seat and the biggest town for 50 miles.
I'm just sayin'.

Before you replace the seals, try running a film negative around the fork tube under the seal. Bareasschopper and rattlebars both have a nice write up. Last weekend my brother had a right side leak on his Valkarie. He followed the procedure it stopped leaking and we rode 1975 miles with no leak last week.
