Thanks Glen!
I used my gas cap hinge on a recent 1400 mile road trip and I really enjoyed it. After a little practice locking the cap it worked flawlessly.
I started out using the tape but decided that it didn't fit tight enough so I re-installed it using the included mounting screws. Glen's Gas Cap Hinge and Permanent AF Screw have been great upgrades to my VTX. These are great products for our bikes and you can spend your money on them with confidence.

Put mine on last Saturday (finally)....Really slick piece...Used the tape and not concerned about it not holding....That stuff has been around for years now, and I have emblems on my '81 Caddy hearse held on with the same stuff...30 years later and they're still holding strong...

whats this about a gas cap hinge? where to buy? what a great idea! take my money!
