All right. New member, first post.
I found this forum by surfing, and I gotta say, this is the best I've found. Lot of info, and it's good to see people helping out. Nice. So, on to my question. I have a 06 1300R. I haven't paid much attention to my gas mileage until now ( been having too much fun riding). I saw a post where they were talking about 35 mpg. I just filled up last night, 103 miles, 3.67 gallons = 28 mpg. What gives???
Some quick details. Stock everything ( except chrome ). No windshield. 3200 miles on bike. Been riding 35 mile round trips to work, 28 highyway, 7 street. Been running around 85 to 90 ( if that is my true speed according to my speed-o )
So, any tips??:hmm2: I know a windshield would help with wind resistance and drag. I'm also trying for the next few days, keeping it around 75-80, and rolling the throttle alot easier
Sorry for the long post, just trying to give all the info you might need to help
Thanks for your time:cheers:
