I bought a VTX1800C 2 weeks ago from interstate and rode it for the first time today. I think I am in love! I can do with any tips you guys and gals will offer.
In particular I am looking for a reliable download of owners and service manuals. As well as some good site for bling gear.
Cheers! Steve.

hello from the showme state. yes you can download the manual, however, i find that it is much better to have it in hand as i like to mark/tag certain pages, the cleymer manual is also good and takes a less tech form of writing (for the normal joe types).

i will not list all the bling sites as there are too many. there are endless parts available around to make your new baby yours. If you use the search feature at the top between home and arcade, it will lead you towards any specific thing you are after and the nice folks around here tend to put a link to where they found it and the best price.

We've got an Australian working at the local quick stop, kinda strange. I'm thinking witness protection program. I mean Poplar Bluff MO isn't a world destination for travelers. I just can't picture an Aussie waking up one day, and saying I'm going to PB MO. Anyways, good luck with your manual.

Howdy from Arkansas! If you love your X, you'll love this place! Read, read, read the forums! They'll give you all the info to keep you bike purring and a hella lot cheaper the taking it to the stealer! If you need a question answered, make sure you post it in the right forum. And good on you for coming to the cafe, mate!
