Well the title should have caught some attention as I don't think there have ever been any complaints about his products. I'm not going to bash Glen in fact, I have to say the CPR works great and is an awesome investment. Here is where the warning comes in.....if you are not very mechanically inclined, spend the extra couple of dollars and "rent" the rivet removal tool. I don't think I'm mechanically inclined but figured I could drill out a rived without any problems. Yeah right! I managed to screw it up and break the circle that the rivet/screw goes through. I did manage to bend it back together and since it's only one of the two holes, I put it all back together and so far so good. After my screw up, I called Glen and was able to talk to him directly about my problem and came up with a couple of solutions. My point is if you're not much of a mechanic or good with tools, get the rivet removal tool. Once you have that, it's very easy to install the tool.

I also installed the LeatherLyke brackets. I guess I can say I have a complaint with them....they were so strong, it was difficult to bend them the tiny bit needed to fit the way I needed them to. Glen did say that they may need some adjustments to fit precisely. They work great now and I have to say Glen's parts a great and as many others have said, Glen has great customer service.:patriot::cheers:
Thanks Glen for the great parts and service!!:choppersm

When I installed mine I used a dremel and gradually removed the top of the rivet carefully.
Since then I have had a chance to use glen rivet removing tool and It works great - actually it works cool and is worth the time to get it for the job.

I'm a mechanic klutz par none. :(

I had read the dozens of previous warnings on both forums to get the tool...so I got the tool, used the tool and it only took a couple of minutes.

The tool works!
