Had a stroke of good luck! A friend of a friend bought a used bike that came with a bunch of accessories that he didn't want.
I snagged a Gerbing heated jacket, the wiring, and thermostat for $60!
I didn't even realize how good of a deal I was getting until after I bought it and went home and looked it up.
I ride year round and I can't believe I didn't look into buying a heated jacket earlier.
The downside, it's been rainy and warm ever since I got it!
