Anyone have any suggestions for this? I've been looking at the Joe Rocket Hammerhead Tank Bag (http://www.joerocket.com/catalog/in...rhead_Tank_Bag_?CFID=6672055&CFTOKEN=94757127) and the Firstgear Laguna GPS Tank Bag (http://www.firstgear-usa.com/fgweb3.nsf/Products/F5118A7D72E3A208862574F00077FE8D?opendocument).

What I've found with the Joe Rocket is that its made more for liter sport bikes however the GPS pocket appears that it'll fit my Garmin Nuvi 255W. The Firstgear looks more like what I need however some review say that the GPS pocket is TINY, which for a widescreen GPS may not work.

I'm not really interested in getting a Zumo or a handlebar mount for the GPS. I'm really set on a tank bag for the other practical uses.

A tank bag is nice to store alot of little stuff. If you wear a full face helmet, you might try looking down at where the gps might be on the tank. Sometimes it hard to look down much more than the speedometer area. Just a thought. Open face or half helmet should be ok.
