As much as I'd love to join you guys, I can't commit to anything as my other duties are subject to change with little notice. If I find that as it gets to a couple days before the ride and I have no duties to attend to, I'd love to chase you guys but again, I wouldn't be able to commit until right before you guys take off. I just realized June 15 is Fathers Day, and I want to spend it with my dad. The previous weekend I am helping my son move to Denver. So, I will not be able to make either weekend in June.

Its all good. As we get closer to the date, if you can, let me know. I still have to do some planning in terms of trying to find gas stations after Prescott and a motel or something to stay at overnight.

I understand. I actually didn't realize the two days you picked was Father's day weekend.

I apologize for not keeping this up-to-date. School and work have been busy. Due to these circumstances I am going to cancel this event. Didn't really seem like there was much interest and unfortunately the people that were/are interested have plans such as father's day etc. Hopefully I can resurrect this event in the future.

The Grand Canyon run has been revived. Its spearheaded by Jbrown mainly over on the OA. The date is 09/20/2014. Its on a saturday. 1 day trip. RSVP with myself or JBrown if you are comming.

Update. We are Meeting Saturday august 30th 12:30 at the Devil's Advocate sports Bar at 955 E university Tempe Az anyone that would like to join us is welcome. We are finalizing our two day trip.

Be sure to take plenty of pictures and post them. I'm starting to plan a similar trip that will span over a week seeing as how it would take at least 3 days, one way, to get to the Grand Canyon from Alabama.
