[Inspector Gadgett]

I got some Metzlers stretched over my spokers, and as I'm putting the wheel back on I see there are 3 distinct grooves in the spacers that go on either side of the front wheel. The grooves are on the side that the seal rides on. Are these normal, or should I turn them around to give the seal a smooth surface to ride on? Photo attached.

Can't answer for sure, if I were to guess, I'd say put 'em back in the way they were. Is one of the spacers longer than the other? If so I think that one goes on left(throttle side) as you face bike from the front. As far as the groove thing, I don't know, I don't recall my spacers looking that way when I had my wheels off to change tires a few weeks ago.

nop... that is an abnormal situation. You should check whats going on there
