My brother spoke to Canyon Honda, in Scotsdale AZ, they told him the new V's will be on display at some kind of dealer show that starts on the 9th. I have eagerly awaited teh relase of the 07's myself. My brother is waiting to get his bike until he sees the 07's, and I'm getting tired of waiting. I hope the bike stays the same, but that they add fuel injection to it. Oh, and my brother would be real happy if it comes in pearl white, like the 07 shadow aeros do.

Keeping my fingers crossed.....

I still have the odd feeling they'll go with FI on the 1300, especially since Yami brought out the liquid-cooled, 1300 V-Star with FI. I seriously doubt Honda will want that to cut into their X sales.

A retro-fit would probably cost a small fortune. Carb is AOK by me; much cheaper to re-set to your pipe/airbox set-up.

Yeah....think of everything you'll have to change.
I doubt there will ever be a retrofit.
FI is way overrated anyways.

I doubt we'll see anything at all but a few different colors (maybe)
All the action will be with the sportsbikes, with maybe something for the 1800. A mid level cruiser like ours simply isn't a top priority, which is fine by me since I love it just the way it is. :)

Truthfully, I wouldn't want to changeover to FI either. I can't fix FI on the side of the road if it craps out. However, I have a buddy with an X who lives out in Colorado, and when he does riding up in the mountains with lots of changes in elevation, etc, he says its a BITCH to keep the bike running right.
I keep telling him he needs to come here for advice on that, but sadly, I have failed you all to this date on that.

He needs to get it jetted right first. I have, many times, changed elevation by about 6000 ft. in a days ride and had no problems at all. A lot of guys jet way too rich ("bigger is better grunt grunt")....only makes it worse the higher you go.

Agreed; I've ridden and changed elevation quite a bit on some longer rides with no ill effects. If you're jetted properly (or pretty darn close to properly) you shouldn't really notice any ill effects. Like Dillon says, if you're rich to begin with, the higher you go with less dense air, the richer it will get.

I posted a photo in the gen section.

Only thing "new" is the colors black/red, blue/silver (I think), & black. That's it, just a 1800R new colors with the "tourer" acc many of us already had. :(

Not that I really care as far as buying a new bike, I don't...I just expected more from them.

Looks like Dillon had it right. :0

Nope.

Here is the official wallpaper from Honda of the "new" VTX model...the only change to the VTX line.

Ok, now compare that to my bike in 2004, as shown in this photo (I had the windshield removed)...what is the big difference? My bike is a 2003, this was the "BIG" 2007 model...

Come on guys....

Yeah I was dissapointed as well. Wow, they gave us a couple new colors. At least they didn't raise the MSRP on it...

I'm not overly impressed with the 1800T either. its basically an 1800R with bags, a sissy bar, and a windscreen. Thanks, but I'd rather select my OWN damn windscreen, bags, and sissybar.

And I bet the seat STILL sucks....
