Has anyone installed the Kewlmetal rake kit?

I have a 2007 VTX 1300S. I am planning to install the Kewl Metal 45 degree rake kit soon. I plan to use the stock wheel and fender on the front. Has anyone else installed this modification, does the bike still handle well and, will the stock fender go back on ok?
